Food For Life

8 October 2009

I spent an interesting day yesterday on the Duchy Home Farm in Highgrove, Gloucestershire, which has links with the Soil Association.

It was an excellent opportunity to meet experts in farming and food production, and explore the sustainability issues that arise from the way in which the country currently feeds itself.

The Big Lottery Fund has put over £16 million into supporting a fascinating partnership between the Soil Association, Garden Organics and the Health Education Trust called Food For Life, which is bringing these matters to the attention of schools and the communities around them.
