What’s your Big Moment of 2015?
Over the past 12 months, projects of all shapes and sizes across the UK have been carrying out remarkable work to support their communities and improve lives.
From arts projects in Ayrshire to support groups in Somerset, our funding is being used to change the lives of millions of people of all ages, backgrounds and needs.
For the Big Lottery Fund, the last year has been made up of a series of moments. From the announcement of funding for the Power to Change in January, which champions community business; to Historypin, which received funding in November for its work to capture precious memories and help combat isolation. Taken together, all of these moments paint a picture of projects making the most of the opportunities available to solve their problems.
Throughout December we’re going to be looking at the various projects we have supported this year via our funding. We’ll be finding out a bit more about their year, what their Big Moment has been and what they are looking to achieve in the New Year.
We also want to know what your Big Moment of the year has been. Whether it was the moment you were able to open your doors to your local community or the moment a vulnerable individual got the help they needed, we want to hear from you.
You can get in touch with us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, and use to let us know what your Big Moment has been and what you are looking to achieve next year. If there’s one thing we’re certain about in 2016, it’s that we’ll keep meeting remarkable people doing remarkable things in communities across the UK..
